Found this hidden little gem today and what a cool place with the friendliest staff!! It's been forever since I have had a true authentic pizza and man they did not disappoint! The most amazing thin crust and a generous portion of topping and the cheese ...omg amazing!! I also got a chicken gyro which was just as amazing. We will be back for a dine in experience our next trip down .

Hidden Gem in Ashcroft! I usually head out to Dessert Hills Farms, but this time we decided to stay in town for a bite. It was a Monday, and with most places closed, we stumbled across this little hidden diner. Honestly, with the word “diner,” I wasn’t expecting much—but from the moment we walked in, we were greeted by the most wonderfully friendly Italian lady, and I instantly felt at home. The menu was impressive—so many delicious options that I couldn’t decide, especially since I hadn’t eaten pasta in over 3 years (I usually avoid it because I struggle to find one that doesn’t upset me). When I asked for a recommendation, she thoughtfully explained some favourites in her beautiful Italian accent. Still unable to choose, I said, “Surprise me—just no pork or red sauce.” The anticipation was real—I was nervous I’d regret it. But then, the dish arrived. Wow. The presentation alone was stunning, and the first bite absolutely blew me away. Fresh, balanced, with just the right touch of spice—it was perfection. I actually had to stop myself from inhaling it too quickly! When I asked what it was called, the chef smiled and said, “It’s yours—no name.” That simple gesture, creating something unique just for me, was beyond special. As someone who works in the industry, I know how much extra care that takes—and it was deeply appreciated. When we went up to pay, she mentioned that it’s just her and her husband running the place. That explained everything—the warmth, the attention to detail, the genuine passion behind every plate. This isn’t just a diner. This is a hidden gem where love, authenticity, and heart go into every dish. I cannot wait to return. She recommended trying the pizza next time, and I will do so. Highly recommend to anyone passing through Ashcroft—you won’t regret it!

The pizza is perfection. Seriously. Perfection. LORENZO ROCKS that wood fire oven. My pizza made me so happy . The crust had the exact crisp and chew I look for and a hint of sweetness. Yum, yum yummy pizza. My husband had a beast of a plate of spaghetti bolognese with two meatballs, the size of a small child's head and a fantastic tasting Italian sausage. He did get the meat sweats as promised. The first thing he said this morning was, "Man, that was such a great meal last night." What a treat to have this gem of a restaurant in this nice little town in the desert

Wow, the wood-fired pizza was absolutely delicious! High quality ingredients, fresh snipped herbs, excellent wine, just outstanding food. The service was warm and wonderful and the atmosphere was charming, clean and full of personality. Our new favorite restaurant.
